*Que dramatically convenient shackle opening upon being stabbed* Totally makes sense, of course!

This is the end of this scene and the start of a full page spread image that I'm terrified/excited to draw. Get ready for the big city, folks!

See you next week (hopefully!) for a new page! Thanks for reading!

This guy takes justice to the same level I take chocolate cake. To DANGEROUS levels.

I love everything that's going on and I can't wait to get started on the next arc!

Overindulgence in sweet, sweet justice!

Thanks! Chapter 2 is a long one but is full of exciting events, such as this one, which may come back to haunt us later...

What if all detect evil spells are actually activated by the user's antipathy? The more he dislikes a target, the stronger they register as evil. The user never questions it, because it always says what they hope to hear!

You have to be really good at writing to get an audience to believe we should sympathize for a demon, bug monster, or gelatinous cube. Congrats, you just did that!

D:
Why shouldn't we sympathise with a gelatinous cube?
Some of my best friends are gelatinous cubes!
Actually, most of my friends are gelatinous cubes...
Wait, I think I need to think about my life.

Thanks! I'm super excited to hear when my writing shines through! This sympathy will be very important later in the chapter when things start to change...

Maybe the imp is actually human, and the ritual changed his appearance and faked his alignment.

yikes. I always had trouble playing a Paladin and having to decide what to do with captives.

No matter how evil, it always felt wrong to kill a helpless prisoner.

Its twice as bad when they are smart enough to plead for their lives.

The comic is really amazing these days Josh, great job =)

Paladins have a hard job. With Arden, its made a bit easier with his blade and his backstory...

Thanks Draginbeard! I'm hoping to keep this momentum throughout this long chapter. There's some crazy things coming up soon which I aim to help open this comic's world even bigger!

And now you are going to make it important. After you read this you won't, and then you will, then you won't... (This continues on forever)
