Time to roll them stats!

Thanks to those who supported my Spotlight on Webcomic Underdogs last week! Such a fun opportunity they give webcomics, go check them out if you haven't yet and sign up for a Spotlight too!

Also, if you're curious, you can check my blog to see how things have been at my college so far! Lots of crazy stuff. I really do want to find time to buffer up so I can update more than once a week!

See you on the weekend for another update! Thanks for reading!

Aw man I hope Skirmish rolls well. D:

Ha. It's funny tho. I thought he was gonna wind up a Mage. Maybe it's just the robe that led me on. xD

Tis the Robe of +1 Misleading of course! I'm sure Skirmish will have at least a normal amount of luck at the moment without Gordy around!

So, if he rolled badly on Wis and Dex, would he suddenly become slow and less clever, which seem to be his best attributes? Just askin'...

JRChace will of course be able to say better, but I was under the impression that the characters have some natural scores to begin with--the rolling can add to them, but not take them away.

In my way of doing attributes, peoples personalities are not affected by stats. Only physically do they change, so a low Dex would make one clumsy and a low wisdom would result in less perception. You won't see major character change to the way they act. It more or less is like becoming superhuman, adventurers are just more powerful people.

I must agree with the fact that no seats were clearly the best seats. Even though I could barely function after the game (damn 5 am shift); it was definitely better having the ability to jump around whenever the excitement level rose. Which, you know what that means now? We have to get standing room again for the next game we attend. Be it next season, or even this year again (assuming we'd be able to get cheap enough tickets); with the Sox going to the post season that is.

Yes. Hopefully there shall there be more games in the future for a $1

I'm thinking Gordy is rolling up his caster at the same time Skirmish (I still think this is the coolest name ever for a Kobold!) is defining his rogue.

Ahah, thanks man! I like the name Skirmish too, its very catchy for a kobold! And yes, they are both ready to start being adventurers!

When rolling, I either have a great night of rolls, or a terrible night of rolls, but I never have a regular night of rolls.

I'm a little confused about the dice rolling (I get what he's doing and know about the dice rolling in RPGs but I guess I've never played one where it does 4 dice and only 3 count.)

Other than that this is awesome!

Since the max score of rolling a character attribute is 18 (though it varies), rolling 3 dice can max out to 18. When people roll characters like this, its normal to roll 4 and remove the lowest of the 3 to make the stats more favorable!

Loving it so far! Skirmish is a great little Kobold! Nice mixing of action and game mechanics.

As I'm also doing a D&D-ish adventure with an evil protagonist at my webcomic http://cockeyed.webcomic.ws/, fancy swapping links?

Also, thanks for the tip about Webcomic Underdogs. Looks good.

I'm still thinking Wizard Boss, Rogue, and then hiring the Fighter and Ranger who chased Skirmish as expendable flunkies.
