If this was the board game Yahtzee, then Gordy would be doing great!

Sorry for this late page without any updates! I'll be sure next time to keep you all up to date on potential tardiness! In other news, there's an awesome guest strip series being done about Goredamn in Pichu999's comic: Mini Chibis! Check it out and see Goredamn's (or shall I say Gore#%$@s) guest cameo!

I used to but now I almost always use a preset array when I play D&D. For the context of the comic, I just had to include rolling scores for this gag!

Goredamn probably went to a rigged machine that was hacked by Tom and Gerald then had a spell on it by Ghaston... Either that or he plain, flat out stinks.

Dice must be rigged, the 'one' and the 'six' are on opposite sides of the normal 6-sided!

Ahhh I was wondering if anyone would notice! I didn't look at a 6-sided for reference when doing the numbers, plus the gag wouldn't of worked if so. You've caught me redhanded!

The Chessmaster

As long as we're helping Ghaston Fel (you know, when he was asking you about small details in that one filler), you put a 2 and a 5 next to each other, and then moved the 5 to the opposite side of the 1 even though it was right next to it earlier, had the purple die have the 5 on the opposite side from the 1, and swapped the 5 and 6 on the yellow die at one point. I can only conclude that another wizard in the same position as Goredamn came back later and cursed the machine so the dice kept shifting numbers randomly.

I'm not familiar with tallying up dice rolls so what happens to the fourth dice's score?

end of message
view JRChace's profile

8th Oct 2013, 8:11 PM

JRChace

The fourth one is the lowest of all the rolls and is excluded from the tally. It gives players a bit of an extra chance at rolling higher, since only three dice worth count. Though, it doesn't stop Gordy from rolling the worst he can!

The Chessmaster

Basically, the lowest die gets ignored. This is a useful bonus, because, say, take a mediocre roll of 2, 3, 4 and 5. This is pretty average, as that's everything except the highest and lowest.

It gets a 12, instead of if just 3 dice were rolled, in which case the average would be lower.

Oh, and pedantic gamer comment: The singular form of dice is die, so that would be "what happens to the fourth die's score".

Aamon

if he's chaotic good he cheat and turn his dice to 18. A good character wouldn't, but he is more of a neutral mentality and quite petty. Those who are chaotic neutral are insane and thus liable to do something stupid. They also likely don't have a plan for cheaters as it isn't expected with their strong screening process.
