Arden sure has a way with words!

I missed last weeks update! Sorry about that. Keeping punctual has been tough for me lately. Lets see if I can get back into the groove of things.

Thanks for reading! See you next week for an update (for reals this time)!

I don't the lawful good qualifies for Arden, or maybe he's too far on the lawful good... much to far.

He takes Good very seriously. But does Good mean to always vanquish Evil...?

Arden has a two point argument. The point of the situation and the point of his sword!

If Good can be this intimidating then Gordy really is falling behind!

An innocent? Just trying to survive? Hiding behind that veil in hope of pity? Some other unseen plot twist? (The kumquat nation has no boundaries to their plans.)

Such as Skirmish, monsters aren't always a blank evil slate. Neither vise versa could be said for adventurers...!

The off-register style coloring is really cool. I like it a lot.

Thanks! I really wanted to toy with the color/lighting in this scene to emphasize a shift in story tone. Things are a bit more tenuous when we are with Arden.

I enjoyed the art, but found the bubble placement somewhat difficult to follow at times. Specifically, the right-to-left of the 3rd panel, and then the bottom-top-bottom of the last panel.

I read them out of sequence before figuring out which way was intended.

After I read this I immediately knew what you meant with the last panel. It sorta bugged me too but I overlooked it. I changed the last panel so the first bubble is a bit higher and the middle/last bubble are more to the right of the composition.

As for the 3rd panel, I couldn't change that without losing the effect I tried to get: A swooping reverse read from the footstep back to Arden, then to the below panels. In the future I'll be more careful executing reverse reads. I'd rather have 100% clear reads of my page than a fancy flourish!

Thanks for pointing it out. Its super easy to correct bubble placement in digital comics, its always important to have it as effective as possible!

I'm digging the use of color on this one. The word balloon sequences are slightly unorthodox but work, nonetheless.

To weight in on the bubbles: I had no problem with them, they lined up well enough to point to the next with clarity.
